Swimming Is So Good For You
 
Swimming is always great to work your whole body which improves cardiovascular conditioning, muscle strength, endurance, posture, and flexibility all at the same time. Your cardiovascular system in particular benefits because swimming improves your body's use of oxygen without overworking your heart. 
 
Always check with your doctor before any exercise program to see if you have any limitations.  Never overdue your workouts.  If you are tired then stop. Pool equipment may also be helpful such as a kickboard that you can hold onto to do leg exercises.
